Francesco is the CEO of the multi-utility company managing the Integrated Water Service of Milan (aqueduct, sewerage, wastewater, stormwater) MM SPA, internationally recognized as a leading engineering company in mobility and water infrastructure sector (i.e. metro lines, railway projects, basins, etc). He is also Vice President of Aqua Publica Europea (APE), the European Association of Public Water Operators (73 public companies providing water and sanitation services to over 70 millions citizens in Europe). With a Phd in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA at Bocconi Business School, he completed the Master's degree in Circular Economy Management at Luiss Business School. He brings 30 years of international experience in many industries. Before joining MM, he was General Manager of two large public companies, Asia Napoli SpA, 2014-2020, operating in the waste sector, and ANM, Azienda Napoletana di Mobilit', 2020-2022, in the public transport sector. He joined the world of utilities after 20 years in leadership roles in the automotive (CNH, Comau), household appliances (Indesit and Candy) and consumer goods (Procter & Gamble). In his professional career, Mr. Mascolo has combined innovation and pragmatism, facing organisational and technological challenges in product and service development, stimulating his team to go beyond the status quo and always pursuing the balance between the achievement of economic results and respect for people and the environment.
