Ebie Holst has been focused on water-related market trends and technologies since 2009, identifying key water-related challenges, commercial assets and innovation opportunities relevant to markets around the world. Founder and CEO of SplashLink, an online marketplace and market intelligence hub for the water industry (acquired by Toronto-based WatrHub), Ebie Holst served as Interim CEO for Jet, Inc., a wastewater treatment solutions company in Cleveland and has worked closely with Cleveland Water Alliance on strategic initiatives in innovation and economic development. A Price Waterhouse and 12-year Silicon Valley veteran in information technology, as well as a seasoned consultant and navigator of the start-up landscape, Ebie has worked in both information and clean technology, and brings over 25 years of management and practical experience in the strategic design and launch of new business models and alliance initiatives across multiple sectors and global industries. Within the water industry, Ebie has been tapped as an advisor and speaker on water issues, opportunities, trends and technical considerations by organizations including The White House and Brown, Gibbons Lang & Company, as well as water-intensive industry stakeholders such as Oil & Gas. In addition to industry speaking engagements on innovation, market intelligence, smart water and regional water challenges. In addition to consulting in management and technology, Ebie has served on the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC) for the U.S. Department of Commerce on global markets for water and wastewater technologies, and is a graduate of The University of Michigan.

Gaëtane SUZENET holds 25 years of experience in the water sector. She is currently Managing Partner of a European advisory company and Co-Founder of the European Water Tech Accelerator. She cooperates with different VC funds in Europe and in the US. She acted as Venture Advisor to Aster Capital, an international venture capital fund. She worked in collaboration with international private equity and infrastructure funds when she was respectively Managing Director of a French Innovation Cluster and Director of European Affairs at WATER UK.

Alex works for The River Trust with responsibility for establishing the Water Stewardship service, which aims to help business and others work collaboratively to deliver sustainable solutions for water at a catchment scale. He is the UK lead for the Courtauld 2030 commitment for collective action on water for the UK food and drink industry and a founding member of the Riverscapes partnership with the Woodland Trust, National Trust and Beavers Trust . Before joining The River Trust`s he worked at WWF -UK and before that spent 14 years at Defra and Natural England working on, amongst other things, in the design and delivery of agri-environment schemes . His early career was spent in marketing and advertising in the IT and Telecoms sector. Alex is member of the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) national support group, an Alliance for Water Stewardship expert practitioner and member of the BSI technical committee for water management, he is also a Town Councillor. He spends most of his spare time trying to keep his two sons exhausted and occasionally gets the chance to play golf or go fly fishing.

Frank is the Director of Innovation and Technology of Aqualia in Madrid, Spain, a private utility providing water and wastewater services for more than 25 million people. Previously he led the Global Process Team for Black & Veatch based in London, UK. His speciality is advanced water and wastewater technology, and after implementing high rate solutions for the first time in Brasil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Spain, UAE, UK, and the US, Frank now manages about 20 projects with EU co-financing and the related partners, suppliers and researchers to demonstrate sustainable alternatives in Aqualia's services in 18 countries.

Francesco is the CEO of the multi-utility company managing the Integrated Water Service of Milan (aqueduct, sewerage, wastewater, stormwater) MM SPA, internationally recognized as a leading engineering company in mobility and water infrastructure sector (i.e. metro lines, railway projects, basins, etc). He is also Vice President of Aqua Publica Europea (APE), the European Association of Public Water Operators (73 public companies providing water and sanitation services to over 70 millions citizens in Europe). With a Phd in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA at Bocconi Business School, he completed the Master's degree in Circular Economy Management at Luiss Business School. He brings 30 years of international experience in many industries. Before joining MM, he was General Manager of two large public companies, Asia Napoli SpA, 2014-2020, operating in the waste sector, and ANM, Azienda Napoletana di Mobilit', 2020-2022, in the public transport sector. He joined the world of utilities after 20 years in leadership roles in the automotive (CNH, Comau), household appliances (Indesit and Candy) and consumer goods (Procter & Gamble). In his professional career, Mr. Mascolo has combined innovation and pragmatism, facing organisational and technological challenges in product and service development, stimulating his team to go beyond the status quo and always pursuing the balance between the achievement of economic results and respect for people and the environment.

Pavlina is passionate about turning cutting-edge technologies into real-world impact. With a PhD in Bioenergy and Self-Sustainable Systems from UWE, Bristol, and over a decade of experience in R&D for Microbial Electrochemical Technologies (METs), she now leads METzero Technologies, a Newcastle University spin-out. Under her leadership, METzero is delivering solutions that increase treatment capacity, reduce costs, and help wastewater producing companies meet their net-zero goals. Her work bridges academic excellence with commercial impact, transforming ideas into lasting change.

Sonora leads Imagine H2O's global portfolio program, consisting of 217 water startups that have raised >$1B in capital since 2009. She supports startup development, impact tracking and partner management to drive adoption of emerging solutions in the water sector. Prior to Imagine H2O, Sonora designed capital improvement projects at the San Diego County Water Authority and supported commissioning of an industrial wastewater facility at Antero Resources. Sonora holds a M.S. in Engineering and Technology Management and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.

Brian is Founder & CEO at StormHarvester, a leading AI provider in the wastewater industry. Brian is an experienced drainage engineer, holding a BA BAI in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin and is a Member of the Institution of Engineers Ireland. Brian has over 15 years expertise in drainage and flood prevention, from prominent leadership roles in civil engineering drainage projects in Ireland, the UK and Australia and most recently as CEO of StormHarvester. StormHarvester's machine learning approach provides operational and asset insight on wastewater networks. Its unique algorithm uses hyperlocal rainfall forecasting, groundwater and sewer levels to detect network anomalies, ranging from sewer blockages to inflow and infiltration to pumping station anomalies.

A former concert pianist, Victoria Edwards founded the pioneering software company FIDO Tech which is using acoustics and AI to revolutionise water loss management. She specialises in innovative models for accelerating and scaling technical responses to the water crisis, forming successful partnerships between utilities, corporations and other non-traditional stakeholders in stressed river basins.

Desiree is a representative for Act4Water and Innovation Director at Agbar, a leading Spanish water utility under Veolia, combines her role with an associate professorship at UPC Barcelonatech. Formerly managing the Sustainability Research Group at Cetaqua, Water Technology Center, she specialized in sustainability research, focusing on carbon and water footprint and life cycle assessment applied to the water cycle and various industries. She has actively participated in advancing GHG monitoring, developing carbon footprint tools, and shaping carbon emission management strategies at Agbar.

Alda is Chair of the Board at the Public Utilities Commission of Latvia, since July 2021. As a chair of multi-sector regulator, she focuses on dynamic regulation that would foster energy transition towards climate neutrality. From 2013 until 2021 she was a Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development with primary areas of responsibility being climate policy and sustainability, environmental protection and biodiversity. She has also served as a board member of the state JSC Latvian Environmental Investment Fund. Before that, she was the head of several non-governmental environmental organizations in Latvia, and also worked internationally. Since November 2022 Alda Ozola is serving as one of five Vice Presidents of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER).
