Farid Ahmed is a Principal Solution Consultant with Aspen Tech Engineering group. In current role, he supports Process Modeling initiatives with Chemicals, Utilities and Energy Industry. Over the years, he worked closely with clients on various Sustainability applications in Carbon Capture, Green/Blue Hydrogen and Emission reduction technologies. He also has deep expertise in developing Dynamic Process Model based Digital Twin applications for Process Optimization and Operator Training Platform. Farid has over 14 years of working experience with Aspen tech and another E&C company. He holds Bachelor’s and master’s in chemical engineering and Doctoral degree in Chemical & Environmental Engineering (University of Houston).
