<p style="text-align: justify;">Attaba is Senior Downstream Oil Industry Analyst at OPEC Secretariat, who is responsible for monitoring developments in refining, petroleum product quality specifications, products trade, crude and products transportation, petrochemicals, downstream investments. He also contributes to the World Oil Outlook.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Prior to joining OPEC in December 2021, he was the Head of Economics studies of Downstream Oil &amp;&nbsp;Gas Industry and Marketing Department at the Algerian National Oil Company, SONATRACH, where he was responsible for performing economic evaluations for downstream projects. Before that, he was responsible for modeling and optimizing the refining, and transportation of petroleum products.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Attaba holds Engineer degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers.</p>
