Diane Reddy is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at UWM. She co-developed the technology-enabled U-Pace instructional approach, which won the 2012 National University Technology Network Distance Education Innovation Award, 2013 Desire2EXCEL Impact Award, and 2014 Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Cooperative for Educational Technologies Outstanding Work Award. Dr. Reddy is PI on a randomized controlled trial evaluating U-Pace instruction funded by the U.S. Department of Education. She is also co-PI on the U.S. Department of Education grant establishing the national Distance Education and Technological Advancements Research Center and an EDUCAUSE, Next Generation Learning Challenges program grant focused on U-Pace instruction. Dr. Reddy is the recipient of the 2015 Brightspace Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning and the 2014 Online Learning Consortium Excellence in Online Teaching Award.
