David Hindman has more than 20 years of experience in senior management for and advisor to energy companies. As senior vice president (SVP) and general manager (GM) of US residential for Direct Energy, he led the successful turnaround of a $2.5-billion business. Earlier he transformed Centrica’s North American upstream and trading group, led the global energy and corporate finance practices at McKinsey & Company, and served in interim management roles to lead business transformations and advise on programs across the energy sector. And he has also worked on $178 billion of M&A transactions. David has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves on the Energy Advisory Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership and the Rice Engineering Board of Directors and is a trustee of the Houston Grand Opera.
