David Grant

David Grant is director of the University of Nottingham’s Energy Institute. Previously he was director and of the University of Nottingham’s successful Beacon in Propulsion Futures and was also Head of Advanced Materials. He has a wide range of interests in energy materials with particular emphasis on solid state storage of hydrogen with his international renown research group. He is co-chair of the Strategic Advisory Board for the EPSRC funded UK-HyRES and Hi-ACT Hubs. He is an international expert on Task 51 on Hydrogen Materials for Energy Storage as part of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Technology Collaboration Programme.
