Damien is responsible for the origination and delivery of JERA’s gas-to-power and LNG downstream infrastructure projects in South and Southeast Asia. Prior to JERA, Damien held senior commercial and business development roles at Vitol Tank Terminals International (VTTI), Excelerate Energy, Summit Power International and Glencore, covering large capital projects such as LNG terminals, FSRUs, independent power projects, refineries and petrochemical plants. Damien’s expertise spans greenfield project development and M&A across Asian and European markets. This includes the Malta LNG-to-power project during his time at London-based private energy investment firm Gasol. The project was the world’s first integrated development combining LNG import, power generation and LNG sourcing. He began his career as an investment banker with Rothschild & Co, advising clients on corporate finance transactions primarily in the Oil & Gas sector. He holds a Master of Finance from Cambridge University, a MSc Sustainability Management from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Business Management from Singapore Management University.
