Dr. Bui is the System Chair of Neurosurgery for Ochsner Health. He completed his neurosurgical training at SUNY- Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and his fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery from University of Alabama Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. Dr. Bui’s focused practice areas are in minimally-invasive and motion preservation spine, complex cranial pathologies, epilepsy, and pediatric neurosurgery. He remains active academically, teaching medical students and residents – serving as Program Director since 2015. He served as past secretary and president of the Louisiana Neurosurgical Society. He was elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2022 to the Ochsner Health Board of Directors.
