Chris Iape is a Senior policy officer in the Victoria Energy upgrades team. Chris has a long history of energy policy in commercial and industrial sector. In his current role, Chris’s key responsibilities are to oversee the new and revised commercial and industrial activities in the VEU program. Chris has recently led the reforms to Project based activities implementation a range of changes to support improved streamlining of PBA activities that reduce commercial risks, costs and complexity for PBA projects. These reforms also introduced specified methods for solar PV and electrification upgrades under PBA that provide more avenues for projects to access incentives in PBA.
