<p><u><strong>Biography:</strong></u></p> <p>Charlie joined NCC in 2022 and is a Research Engineer in the High Volume Manufacturing department, supporting UK industry in sectors ranging from wind energy to SMEs developing composite camper van beds. He has worked on a range of projects during his time with the company including: developing data-driven models to improve infusion quality, using sensorisation to optimise the infusion and cure processes and preventing defects during resin infusion processes and development of large-scale resin infusion of wind turbine blades. He is currently working on the setup and development of the NCC&rsquo;s new Large Structures Innovation Centre (LSIC), this work involves writing specifications for any equipment to support the infusion process at this new facility.</p> <p><u><strong>About NCC:</strong></u></p> <p>NCC helps businesses of all size bridge the gap between cutting-edge innovation and industrial application, turning ideas into impact across the entire product lifecycle.
