Charles Fordham is Business Development Director specifically focused on Middle East Business Development, a position he assumed in June 2017 following almost six years in the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions team in San Ramon. Based in London, he is responsible for origination of new opportunities across the value chain in the Middle East. Fordham has 30 years of industry experience in both domestic and international assignments in oil and gas exploration & development, asset management, upstream commercial analysis, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning. In addition to assignments in the United Kingdom, he has worked in the United States, but has worked most areas of the globe. Fordham joined Chevron in 2006 following positions at Conoco, PowerGen, CalEnergy Gas and Gaz de France (Engie). He holds a bachelor degree in Geology from the University of Leicester, a Masters from the University of Newcastle and an MBA from Henley Management College.
