Deputy Director-General Climate and Energy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the Netherlands Dr Caroline Kollau currently holds the position of deputy DG Climate and Energy. Previously, dr. Kollau worked as the director of International Trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and held the position of director of Financial Affairs with the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. While at the Ministry of Finance, Ms Kollau was deputy director of Budgetary Affairs and headed the EU sector of the Foreign Financial Relations department. Before returning to the Netherlands, Dr Kollau was in the European I Department of the IMF. Dr Kollau holds a PhD from the Graduate School of International Economics and Finance at Brandeis University and has lectured at the Faculty of European Studies of Leiden University.
