Bogue built his career on the shop floor, beginning with a rigorous apprenticeship at Newport News Shipbuilding. Over the next 14 years, he developed deep expertise as a machinist, mastering complex machining processes and earning the trust of his peers as a leader. He eventually moved into shop floor management, where he combined technical excellence with operational oversight to drive performance and quality. With a career rooted in the essential craft of American manufacturing, as President of Matsuura USA, Bogue brings a rare blend of hands-on experience and strategic vision to the role, helping clients across industries modernize their machining capabilities. Throughout his career, Bogue has held key roles in the CNC machine tool sector, as well as in cutting tools, capital equipment, and power generation.
