Bernhard started his venture career in 2007 at T-Venture in Germany (today DTCP). In 2010, Bernhard moved to San Francisco to become Managing Director of T-Venture of America. After that, he became Partner at Iris Capital in 2016, before he joined the Silicon Valley based early-stage VC fund Relay Ventures in 2020. Since 2023, Bernhard is Managing Director Ventures at FIEGE Ventures (Germany) and also Managing Partner at F-LOG Ventures and Xpress Ventures. Bernhard holds a Diploma in Business Administration, a Master in Business Research and a Ph.D. from the Munich School of Management at the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU).
