Dr Arianna Sdei is a Chartered Architect and Chartered Engineer, and a former Research Fellow at the University of Brighton. With over 20 years of experience, she has led innovative decarbonisation projects, including Innovation for Renewal (IFORE), which retrofitted 200 social homes across England and France. Arianna holds a PhD focusing on climate change adaptation in retrofitted social housing. In her current role as a Sustainability Design Advisor at the Department for Education, she leads aspects of research and development in the education estate and is shaping the Regenerative Schools Pilot project. She is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Brighton and has published and presented her research at national and international conferences. Arianna is also a qualified Retrofit Coordinator.
