<p>Amin is Professor of Intelligent Engineering Systems at Nottingham Trent University. He acted as the national Director of DTA-Energy (Doctoral Training Alliance) between 2016 and 2023. Currently the Director of Product Innovation Centre at NTU. His research and teaching activities focus on multi-disciplinary topics in the broad area of AI, product design, automation, energy and engineering. Amin is currently leading the Innovative and Sustainable Built Environment Technologies research group (iSBET)&nbsp; in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies from the University of Nottingham. Amin is a Chartered Engineer and past chairman of the IET for the East Midlands Region and Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire local network panel.</p>
