She also has extensive experience obtaining registered design protection.</p> <p> </p> <p>With a degree from Imperial in mechanical engineering, her Masters project investigating the degradation and surface roughening of zirconia toughened alumina ceramic femoral heads for total hip arthroplasty won the Institution of Mechanical Engineers prize, and a device she designed for a Paralympic swimmer was used to win silver in Rio 2016.</p> <p> </p>
