Alix Deffrennes is a designated Counsel in the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) team of Gide Loyrette Nouel, in Paris. She regularly acts in the implementation of international projects, regardless of their form, with a particular focus on energy projects in Africa. She has acquired specific experience in setting up electric power plants and other energy infrastructure projects, including integrated project such as Gas-to-Power projects and projects involving several States. Additionally, she has extensive knowledge of oil, gas and mining projects. She regularly assists oil and mining companies, as well as States, mainly in Africa, on negotiating agreements for petroleum and mining projects: production sharing agreements, concessions agreements and ancillary agreements for the implementation of extraction projects.
