At the crossroads of political science and educational research, Alexandra is currently working in the Educational Development Unit of the Institute for European Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She is designing and delivering a variety of educational programmes targeted both at students and professionals, using the blended learning approach to combine face-to-face lectures, online courses and webinars. A political scientist interested in educational technology, Alexandra is writing her PhD on the relation between technology and pedagogy in teaching political science. She has also been championing the use of technology in the classroom among her colleagues and in similar social science departments in Belgium and the United Kingdom.
