<p><u><strong>Biography:</strong></u></p> <p>Alessandro Forestieri earned an MSc in Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2014. He began his career as an application engineer working on chains and conveyor belts for industrial and automotive applications. In 2016, he joined Owens Corning, returning to his passion for composite materials as Application Laboratory Manager. He subsequently held several roles, including Product Engineer and Application Engineer, supporting poles, SMC, and thermoplastic solutions for infrastructure and automotive markets. In 2024, Alessandro joined Owens Corning&rsquo;s sustainability organization as Circularity Lead for Europe. Since October 2025, he has served as Sustainability Lead, driving European initiatives on fiberglass and composite recycling, product carbon footprint reduction, waste take‑back systems, reverse logistics, and collaboration with key industry partners to develop end‑of‑life recycling solutions.</p> <p><u><strong>About Owens Corning:</strong></u></p> <p>Owens Corning&rsquo;s glass reinforcements business is a leading global provider of solutions matching the differentiated needs of the growing composites industry.
