Wincel Kaufmann is Head of Sustainability at Zurich, where she is responsible for setting, implementing, and monitoring the sustainability strategy across Zurich’s European real estate investment portfolio. Wincel has 20 years of experience in real estate and sustainable finance. Before joining Zurich, she was Global Sustainable Investing Lead for the private markets at BlackRock, where she helped build the firm’s sustainability strategy across real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. Earlier in her career, she worked in real estate asset management in Europe and Asia, focusing on portfolio strategy. Wincel holds an executive MBA from INSEAD and has lived and worked in Singapore, London, Hong Kong, Germany and Switzerland. She is an Advisory Board Member of the Solar Impulse Foundation and has served as a judge for the Women of the Future Awards.
