Will is an AI Lead within Ramboll's Environment & Health Business. Will has over 6 years of experience with generative AI and machine learning. At Ramboll, Will leads a team of AI experts tasked with working directly with clients and Ramboll SMEs to develop new ways to decarbonise for net zero, create resilient societies, manage resources and promote biodiversity & ecosystems. Supported by Ramboll Tech and wider tech partners, the AI team is Ramboll Environment & Health's primary driver for AI-enabled services and client value. Will is the founder of District One, a machine learning design platform, used to model feasible heat network systems on a city-wide scale. Will's experience in AI and AEC is built on the foundations provided by his MSc in Geospatial Sciences from UCL. Will undertook a set of modules designed to build core skills in machine learning, automation and data management. Will completed his dissertation with Arup, which looked at the possibility of using gaming engine technology to improve human computer interactions with BIM and GIS data within the AEC industry.
