<p>Victor is a Senior Legal Counsel at Acciona Construction Australia. Victor is experienced and qualified as both a lawyer and civil engineer, with both in-house and private practice experience. His experience is primarily with contentious matters, having worked on international and domestic construction arbitrations, conciliations, mediation, adjudication and litigation.</p> <p>Victor has significant infrastructure experience. He has advised the High Speed Rail project in Taiwan. At a project value of approximately US$16 billion, it is one of the world&rsquo;s largest BOT projects.</p> <p>Victor has extensive experience acting on international arbitrations on major infrastructure projects, Victor understands what is required to project manage multi-disciplinary teams of experts, witnesses and lawyers across different jurisdictions to achieve set objectives.</p> <p>As a senior member of the legal team in private practice and in-house, Victor has taken a particular interest in mentoring, coaching and supervising junior lawyers.</p> <p>His background as a qualified and experienced civil engineer with over eighteen years of contracting and consulting experience in Hong Kong, United Kingdom and Australia, across a range of significant international projects, has given Victor a solid understanding of the issues often encountered in infrastructure projects.</p> <p>Victor also completed an MBA at Deakin University. In his spare time, he is learning Spanish.</p>
