Tony Ng Kwun Lun

Artist

Tony Ng is a Hong Kong artist known for his ink art, whose practice has expanded to include installation, photography, public art, sculpture and land art projects. He actively engages in local public art initiatives, designing and producing various public art pieces. Ng earned his Master of Fine Art from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2011, and obtained a Diploma in Chinese Ink Painting from the Department of Extra-Mural Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1986. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Ng teaches at various art institutions across Hong Kong. His work has garnered numerous accolades, including the Hong Kong Urban Council Fine Arts Award for Painting in Chinese Media in 1994 and the Special Award at the 10th National Art Exhibition in 2004. His artworks are featured in esteemed collections, including The Hong Kong Heritage Museum, The Hong Kong Museum of Art, the University Museum and Art Gallery at The University of Hong Kong and various private collections.
