Mr. Lusco has more than 30 years of experience in systems engineering and the application of standards to technical development. He has more than ten years of experience in harmonization and standards development activities. He collaborated with an team of international experts to develop the mechanisms for the ITS reference architecture (ARC-IT) to reference standards in such a way as to provide standards guidance to the users of ITS architecture products and tools. He is heavily involved in the development of reference architecture for ITS and smart cities, and participates regularly in standards developments in ITS, vehicle connectivity, cybersecurity and smart cities. He has a master's degree in systems engineering from Virginia Tech, and is active within the systems engineering community through INCOSE.
