Tim Walton is Senior Vice President of International Hotel Development for Marriott International, based in London. He leads a dynamic team driving the expansion of Marriott’s brands across Northern, Western, and Southern Europe, as well as the development of Design Hotels™ across the EMEA region. Known for his exceptional relationship-building skills and collaborative leadership style, Tim is highly regarded for forging strong partnerships and delivering impactful growth across diverse markets. Before rejoining Marriott in 2005, he was Vice President of Hotel Development for Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts and previously worked with Marriott’s Development Planning and Feasibility team. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in hospitality consultancy and hotel sales and marketing. A graduate of the University of Surrey, Tim remains closely connected to his alma mater as a guest lecturer, advisory board member, and frequent industry speaker.
