Tim Bradshaw has been reporting on the tech industry for more than 20 years from both London and Silicon Valley. After joining the FT in 2008, he started out as digital media correspondent, breaking news on Twitter and Facebook’s fledging efforts to make money, and the rise of a new breed of European start-ups like Spotify. He moved to San Francisco in 2012 to be the FT’s lead reporter on Apple, as well as tracking the emergence of Uber, Airbnb, autonomous vehicles and virtual reality. Since returning to London in 2018, Tim covers a broad range of tech news and features, from chips and AI infrastructure to video games and regulation, while also contributing to the FT’s podcasts and comment pages.
