Tara Dunning is Vice President of Converging Technology, Global Strategy and Sales at Wesco International, where she is responsible for advancing emerging technologies, shaping go-to-market strategies, and identifying opportunities across segments, verticals, and geographies. She plays a key role in driving the convergence of IT and OT, aligning Wesco’s portfolio of solutions and services to be interoperable and insights-driven. By helping customers harness integrated technologies, Tara enables organizations to unlock greater business intelligence, accelerate growth, and maximize return on investment. She has built a successful career driving transformative growth in both the IT and OT industries, holding senior leadership roles in sales and strategy across global distribution, manufacturing, and service provider organizations. Tara is serving her second term on the Security Industry Association (SIA) Board of Directors, including participation on the executive committee. She has also been a multi-year advisor to the SIA Megatrends report, a frequent contributor to the Securing New Ground executive conference, and an active participant in ISC West’s education forums. Over the past 20 years, Tara has been deeply engaged in advancing women’s leadership and multicultural initiatives through her involvement in various professional and community organizations. Tara and her husband of more than 30 years split their time between Washington, DC, and Greenville, South Carolina. They are proud parents of Lucy (Brooklyn, NY), Nate (Austin, TX), Aidan (Barcelona, Spain), and their beloved rescue pup, Frankie.
