Steve leads the Analytical Sciences team at Domino Printing Sciences, part of the Brother Group of companies. He specialises in chromatography, mass spectrometry and Process Analytical Chemistry. He gained his PhD in analytical chemistry from the University of Hull and has worked in petrochemicals and ink development. He has served two terms of office as an elected member of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Analytical Division Community where he headed the International Strategy Group. He is currently leading the industrial input to the IUPAC Working Group on analytical education. He founded the charity, Foundation for Analytical Science and Technology in Africa and has developed and delivered the Royal Society of Chemistry/ Pan Africa Chemistry Network GC-MS Workshops across Africa, reaching many hundreds of scientists across Africa.
