Silvano Erlicher, Ph.D., leads the Nuclear Civil Engineering Team of Egis. Recipient of the Technical Solution of the Year award in 2024 (CTB-Moniteur, France) - for its Numerical Twin of Reinforced Concrete Nuclear Buildings - and recipient of Technological Innovation award in 2024 (SFEN, French Society for Nuclear Energy) - for its innovative Steel-Concrete technology for nuclear building - the Nuclear Civil Engineering Team comprises about 100 civil, structural and earthquake engineers working both on the design of new nuclear facilities (EPR, EPR2, ITER among others) and on structural diagnostic and/or rehabilitation and/or dismantling of existing nuclear buildings. Silvano is currently involved in the EPR2 detailed design and supervises the R&D activity at Egis Nuclear. He has interests in Structural dynamics, Earthquake engineering, Material models for concrete and reinforced concrete. He is the author of about 50 journal papers and supervised 15 PhD students.
