Shilpa Arora is the General Manager of DoorDash Canada, responsible for overseeing holistic cross-country business strategy, growth, operations, and employee development. With an international career spanning nearly two decades and several distinct industries, Shilpa leadership roles across financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and innovation, and digital transformation have underscored her breadth of strategic insights. Before joining DoorDash, Shilpa led CIBC’s digital enablement and business optimization initiatives as Senior Director of Transformation, in addition to previously leading Strategy and Innovation at Loblaws. Shilpa holds an MBA in Analytical Finance and Strategic Marketing from Indian School of Business and is a certified business valuator (CBV), in addition to being a trained architect and CFA candidate. As a resilient female leader in technology, Shilpa is an avid advocate for diversity and inclusion and intersectional representation in the workplace. She is passionate about mentoring emerging women leaders, whether through DoorDash programming or beyond. Shilpa lives in Oakville, Ontario with her husband and two daughters.
