Sheryl Wylie

Sheryl Wylie is a Senior Digital Developer at Laing O'Rourke, working to turn real project problems into practical digital solutions. Sitting close to delivery teams, she develops Power Platform apps, dashboards and data workflows that help site teams capture better information, reduce manual admin and make project data more usable. She is currently doing a part time MSt Construction Engineering Masters course in Cambridge, with a focus on digital transformation, AI and decision-making in construction. Her work combines academic research with hands-on delivery, exploring how construction teams can move from fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected tools towards standardised, scalable ways of working. Her current focus is Build Twin, a site-led model for digital innovation that combines people, process, data and technology to make innovation survive beyond individual pilots. Through this work, Sheryl is interested in how digital tools can support better project control, stronger data practices and more sustainable innovation across live construction environments.
