<p>Shekhar leads strategy and thought leadership for Meta&rsquo;s Global Clients team, which includes some of the world&rsquo;s largest and most well known marketers and brands. His team works to help their clients gain more success, through insights and thought leadership, to help unlock opportunities for growth.</p> <p>Previously, he spent 19 years at J Walter Thompson (JWT &ndash; part of WPP), as Global Strategy Director, split between London (13 years), and in Bengaluru, India (6 years). At JWT, he led global brand and communications strategy for clients like Unilever, Nike, Diageo, Mondelez, Shell, IHG and others.</p> <p>He has worked across several countries and continents, including USA, China, South Korea, Europe, LATAM, South-East Asia, and of course India, where he&rsquo;s from.</p> <p>He is deeply committed to helping young talent develop and grow. He mentors and trains for the APG UK, the Marketing Academy, the School of Communication Arts, and other institutions.</p>
