Shawn Benevides joined Axis over 4 years ago and is the Manager of the Business Development & Solutions Enablement function for the Americas. He is responsible for leading teams that focus on areas that include; accelerating the demand of strategic technologies, expansion of the Axis ecosystem, data analysis & operational efficiency and a business development team responsible for market expansion of the Axis Body Worn Solution. Prior to Axis, Shawn held sales, marketing and product management roles at companies that include Honeywell & Johnson Controls. His experience in the industry spans distribution, manufacturing and systems installation. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree, with a double-major in Journalism & Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
