Serges-Roberteau TCHOFFO started his journey in the development sector in 2013 as a Consultant at the National Institute of Statistics of Cameroon. Before joining UNDP Cameroon Accelerator Lab in 2022 as Head of Experimentation, he worked as a Technical Advisor at GIZ, a Technical Officer at IUCN, and a Cartography and GIS Database Manager at FODER (NGO). In terms of education, Roberteau holds an Academic Master’s Degree in Geography, a Professional Master’s Degree in Applied Cartography, Remote Sensing, and GIS from the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon), and a Higher Certificate in Geomatics and Applications from the National School of Geographic Sciences (France). He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMI/PMP®) and has also contributed to the publication of several papers and blogs as the main author or co-author on topics related to the integration of innovation and emerging technologies in development activities. He has a keen interest for AI and co-authored a blog in 2023 titled “ How can Generative AI contribute to improving quality education and research to impact the development of Cameroon? “. Roberteau is very passionate about emerging technologies and innovation in general.
