Sébastien Reynaud is the Technical and Methods Director for Geotechnical Activities at Egis. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanics of Geophysical Media and Environment (specialisation in internal & surface geotechnics), from the University of Grenoble-Alpes (UGA), France. He also earned an engineering degree in Geotechnics from Polytech Grenoble (Grenoble INP, UGA). He has worked extensively in the field of geotechnical engineering, particularly on industrial and nuclear sites, urban linear infrastructure, and port facilities. He is recognized for his specialisation in Soil-Structure Interaction and the behavior of soils during seismic events. His experience includes dynamic soil modeling, site effect analysis through 1D to 3D soil response analysis, stability analysis and impedance functions. He also has experience in the site characterization of nuclear projects, with a focus on soil analysis, material strategy, seismic hazard assessment and the formulation of design parameters.
