Sandra Walker-Halliman, MSN, RN, VHA-CM has been at VHA for the past 5 years and DoD for 11 years. She currently serves as the HPDP Program Manager at Columbia VA Health Care Systems. She was awarded the Dept. of Veterans Affairs "Secretary's Award for Excellence in Nursing" in 2021 as a Facility and VISN 7 winner for "RN in an Expanded Role". She has written and been awarded several grants. In 2022, she was a presenter at VHA THREAD and the 6th International Integrative Nursing Symposium. She maintains a focus on combatting organizational workforce burnout with HRO and well-being initiatives.
