Sandeep Shahi is VP of IT APAC and MEISA and joined FedEx Express in 2024. Sandeep has extensive experience as an IT leader in various roles outside FedEx. In his most recent role, Sandeep was CIO Group Functions at DHL, leading the digital transformation of group services and increasing the adoption of digital solutions with large customers. Before that, Sandeep was Head of IT Strategy, Architecture and Solution Delivery at DHL Group, where he played a key role in the modernization of the IT landscape with a focus on integrated architecture based on “best-of-breed” IT Strategy. He then took on the role of CIO and Head of Business Process Organization for DHL Europe, where he successfully implemented a new IT platform for air freight, ocean freight, customs and warehousing which considerably increased the profitability of the company. Before joining DHL, Sandeep held the position of Corporate Vice President, Post Merger Integration at SAP AG in Germany where he started his professional career. He now leads a group of almost 420 team members in FedEx across APAC and MEISA and interfaces with Key Stakeholders in International based outside of APAC. Sandeep earned his Master of Science Degree Information and Communications. Engineering University of Karlsruhe (TH) in Germany.
