Dr. Samira Rostom received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Western Ontario (UWO) in 2018. She has published 4 journal articles including a review paper in the field she worked on during her PhD. Later she joined as a Post-doctoral Fellow at UWO in the field of oil-sand research. Then she joined Enerkem Inc., Edmonton while she worked mostly in the field of olefins production from syngas. She was involved in catalyst patent work along with piloting the process she was researching. Recently, she has joined at CanmetENERGY as a Research Scientist.
