Care education providing training to a range of organisations and individuals around Australia. After being awarded an Emergency Service Foundation research scholarship in 2017 Sam developed a passion for improving multi-agency response to high threat incidents and has since gone on to further build his knowledge through the completion of a Master of Terrorism and Security Studies and Graduate Certificates in Tactical Medicine and Intelligence Analysis. During his studies Sam began publishing his research on topics including warm zone operations and response to terrorism and other high threat incidents. The topic of Fire as a Weapon has stood out to Sam as it remains an under researched and often mis-understood attack type which has proven to be extremely lethal and complex for responding authorities. Sam's intent is to continue advocating for improving understanding and research on this topic to enhance multi-agency preparedness and response capabilities for future Fire as a Weapon events.
