Dr Salaheddin Rahimi, CEng FIMMM, leads the Materials and Residual Stress Team at the University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC). He is an expert in the measurements, modelling and control of Residual Stress and materials properties during manufacturing. He has led the creation of the UK’s leading source of Residual Stress measurements and control at the AFRC for industrial purposes and as a platform for ongoing translational research. He has over 12 years of experience of planning and executing complex industry led translational research programmes.
