<p>Ruud Mollema, project manager Data, standard and technical infrastructure within the Dutch MaaS program.</p> <p>The MaaS program aims to set up a Maas Ecosystem by starting up seven national pilots, each with another focus. MaaS Serviceproviders and Transport operators work together in developing App&rsquo;s and interfaces in order to give the traveller a seamless all in one travel experience.</p> <p>The highlighted &nbsp;case is the pilot in Limburg that makes seamless cross border travelling possible with Aachen in Germany. Many technical and procedural issues have to be solved, but the main challenge is connecting both national railway schemes. New digital techniques as travelling with location positioning and a digital ticket stock are being developed as building blocks for logistic and financial handling. These make the step into the future possible for the cross border traveler.</p>
