As an entrepreneur with 30 years experience in big data systems, Robin wants to help build a future where tech innovation supports local, sustainable farming. His specialities include building and integrating hardware and software solutions for evolving businesses, and working in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Robin spent 30 years in IT and Infrastructure Architecture designing and managing data-centres, working with OpenStack, Maas, IaaS, and PaaS for scaling, cost reduction, DR, and the implementation of Hybrid clouds. Then he launched his Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company for small businesses, focussing on developing a flexible, versatile ERP offering. Robin founded Canobi AgTech to connect with indoor farmers, greenhouse developers, and agricultural device and systems manufacturers. He wants to help them integrate data visualization into their best-in-class business practices and add SaaS-based platforms to their products.
