Robert is a Partner in KPMG’s Alternative Investments Tax practice, specialising in advising institutional corporate and sovereign investors in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors. He has more than 25 years of global industry experience in the real estate and infrastructure sectors across deals, general advisory and operational tax. Prior to joining KPMG, Robert was Head of Tax, Real Assets at Norwegian sovereign fund Norges Bank Investment Management for a number of years, where he was instrumental in the development of the real estate and renewable energy investment portfolios and the investment organisation since inception of the mandate in 2011. Robert qualified as a lawyer in 2000 and worked at Freshfields and Allen & Overy in London and the United Arab Emirates prior to joining NBIM.
