Rennie Rechel is the Division Chief of Revolving Funds at the Air Force Budget Operations Directorate (SAF/FMBO), leading a team of budget analysts and an accountant. She manages the $19.2 billion Air Force Working Capital Fund (AFWCF), which supports the budget formulation, execution and cash management of the critical functions such as Depot Maintenance, Wholesale and Retail Supply, Medical Dental, and the Air Force Military Academy. In addition, U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) cash is included within the AFWCF cash balance. Prior to joining SAF/FMBO in April 2024, Rennie served as the Supply Management Chief at the Army Budget Office (ABO), managing the $9.8 billion Supply Management Activity budget and the Army Working Capital Fund's cash balance. Her extensive experience also includes five years at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) [OUSD(C)], where she held key roles such as Funds Control Analyst for $47 billion in Defense-wide programs and Cash Analyst for working capital funds. She also served as the Overseas Contingency Operations Analyst. Rennie holds an MBA and an Executive MPA from Syracuse University, and a BSBA from the University of Phoenix.
