Rema currently wears double hats by overseeing the business strategy of Uber's payment operations in Europe and leads Compliance for Uber's Taiwan payments operations on an interim basis. Concurrently, she is also a Global Board Member and Chair of Women at Uber for EMEA, an Employee Resource Group within Uber to promote the development and advancement of women to be future leaders and advocates at Uber and beyond. Prior to Uber, Rema has spent almost ten years in the Compliance sphere in several countries around the world namely Chile, UK, Singapore and Malaysia specialising in forensic audits and investigations and financial crime advisory
