Professor Brian Cox CBE FRS is one of the world's leading science communicators, United Nations Champion for Space, and Professor of Particle Physics at the University of Manchester, a Fellow of the Royal Society, and — since September 2025 — The Francis Crick Institute's inaugural Crick Scholar. He has presented numerous acclaimed BBC series — including Wonders of the Solar System, Universe, and most recently Solar System (2024), one of the BBC's most-watched factual series in years — reaching billions of viewers worldwide. Brian co-hosts the beloved podcast The Infinite Monkey Cage and has sold over a million books globally. A record-breaking live performer, his worldwide Horizons tour drew audiences of nearly half a million. In 2024 he performed sell-out shows at the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Opera House, London. Before his scientific career, Brian played keyboard with D:Ream on their iconic hit Things Can Only Get Better.
