Prof. Sir Konstantin ‘Kostya’ Novoselov FRS is an expert in condensed matter physics, mesoscopic physics, and nanotechnology, best known for isolating graphene in 2004. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010 for his pioneering experiments, he has been consistently included in the list of the most highly cited researchers worldwide since 2014. Kostya’s career spans prestigious institutions, with a PhD from the University of Nijmegen, and roles at The University of Manchester and the National University of Singapore. He is currently leading the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials in Singapore. During his talk he will dig into how AI is opening a world of opportunities in accelerating research and innovation, revolutionizing the way we design and develop advanced materials.
