Pradeep Kakkattil started his career in India as a print and television journalist. He gave up his media career when a close friend tested positive for HIV. He has since worked on global health including with donors and the UN for the last three decades. Pradeep helped launch the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) a platform that connects innovators, governments and investors to develop and scale innovations for health which over the last two years has mobilized over US200m for innovations.
